Q+

QPLUS (Q+) is a safe and brave space for students primarily from the CSB and SJU (but could include Saint John’s Prep School and the St. Cloud area) that currently identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community as well as students who are questioning. We recognize that identities in our global community intersect with and impact our daily experiences of gender and sexuality with race, ethnicity, class, ability, age, culture, and all social systems. Q+ represents an organization for students to converse with their peers who have a deepening concern for LGBTQ+issues. The organization will ensure students do not feel alone or uncomfortable on campus by providing space in meetings, events, and other areas for students to voice their concerns. Hence, we acknowledge and guarantee that Q+ will promote the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ folks and allies, while intersectionally working to dismantle prejudice, discrimination, and oppression toward and within the LGBTQ+ community on campus.

If you are interested in becoming an advisory board member for Q+, contact qplus@csbsju.edu or stop in at the Q+ office from 9 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday or visit their website at https://www.csbsju.edu/iiss/gender-and-sexuality.
