MLK Week: "Redeeming the Soul of America" runs January 15th - 19th, with events taking place each day. These events include the MLK Day Teach-In, as well as guest speakers, a poverty simulation, poetry readings, and community dialogues and workshops throughout the week.

Poverty is a reality for many individuals and families, but unless you've experienced poverty, it's difficult to truly understand. The Poverty Simulation is an interactive experience that sensitizes community participants to the realities of poverty.
