Configure Mail App
To configure the default Mail app on your iPhone, iPod, or iPad, follow the steps below.
iOS 11.x or higher:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Mail.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap Microsoft Exchange.
- Fill in the following fields:
- User Name: Enter the full email address if asked for the user name in the manual setup.
- Tap Next.
- Tap Sign In.
- Type in your password when prompted and tap Sign in.
- From the list of mailbox items (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes), choose the items you want to sync on your device by toggling them on or off.
- Tap Save.
- If you are prompted to allow access to your mailbox, tap Accept.
- Press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
- Employees: If you do not have a passcode set on the device, you will be prompted to set one before your mail will begin downloading. See Mobile Security Policy for more information.
Configure Outlook App
To use Outlook on your iPhone, iPod, or iPad, you first need to install Outlook. Click here for installing Microsoft Office on your iOS.
- Tap Outlook.
- Tap Add An Account.
- Tap Exchange.
- Enter the following:
- Email: username@csbsju.edu where username = your network username
- Enter your network password.
- Description: type a description for the account (e.g. CSBSJU).
- Tap Go.
