Online Resources

The CSB/SJU Libraries have tutorials to help you find high-quality resources online.

1. CSB/SJU Libraries YouTube channel
(includes the following tutorials and other useful content)
3. Finding Books in the Library Catalog (Guide on the Side)

Chat, email, or schedule a research appointment (I'll send you a Zoom meeting ID) with Diana if you have any questions.

Recommended Databases: EBSCO Cross-Search

Asian studies is a highly interdisciplinary field. EBSCO Cross-Search includes scholarly articles from 20 subscription databases, so it's a great starting point for your research. JSTOR might also be helpful for Asian studies research relating to history and the humanities.

A list of all CSB/SJU Libraries' databases is on the Databases A-Z page, and the best databases for each discipline are in our Research Guides.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

If you need a book or article that isn't held by the CSB/SJU Libraries, you can request it from another library using our Interlibrary Loan service. Just look for a "Request Item through Interlibrary Loan" button!
