Additional Resources:

Launch: Using Design Thinking to Boost Creativity and Bring out the Maker in Every Student by John Spencer -- explores how students use problem solving, critical thinking, and imagination to become makers and creators.

- Dive into Inquiry: Amplify Learning and Empower Student Voice by Trevor MacKenzie-- explores how students can take control of their learning using inquiry and create authentic learning experiences.

- Learning First, Technology Second by Liz Kolb -- explores how technology adds value to student learning.

- Hacking Project Based Learning by Ross Cooper and Erin Murphy -- provides a guide for demystifying and implementing project based learning.  The Hacking Learning series is written in a way that describes a  problem (or opportunity), a hack to solve, plans for implementation tomorrow and long term, how to overcome pushback, and an example of the hack in action.  I highly recommend the series to learn strategies that can be readily implemented.
